Nickel/Lewis Acid-Catalyzed Carbocyanation of Alkynes Using Acetonitrile and Substituted Acetonitriles.

The scope and limitations of the carbocyanation reaction of a variety of alkynes with nitriles (I) and (V) are reported (40 examples).
