Effect of trimetazidine on curative effect and exercise tolerance in patients with stable angina cordis

2013
Objective To investigate the effect of trimetazidine on curative effect and exercise tolerance in patients with stable angina cordis. Methods The information of 300 patients with stable angina cordis from 2011 to 2013 in the cardiology department of our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the different treatment methods, and each group had 150 cases. The patients of the two groups were both given the conventional drugs treatment, such as beta-blockers, aspirin, clopidogrel, calcium channel blockers, statins, while the patients of the observation group were added with trimetazidine treatment for 2 weeks, and the exercise tolerance of patients were measured. The clinical symptoms and exercise tolerance of patients in the two groups were evaluated after the treatment. Results The clinical total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).The exercise tolerance of the observation group improved more significantly compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion Trimetazidine can improve the myocardial energy metabolism in patients with angina cordis, reduce the onset of angina cordis, improve the exercise tolerance, and has satisfactory effect.
