자아성찰과 객관성을 추구한 시인: 셰이머스 히니

2020
This paper aims to evaluate Seamus Heaney as a poet of self-introspection and objectification, which seem to be required for the development of self and community. Re-reading his poems indicates that Heaney can be seen as a poet of self-introspection and objectification, especially in his purpose of writing, in his efforts to resolve the conflict of Northern Ireland, in his search for the pure arts free from nets, in his critical attitude to his own works and also the prejudice of Irish nation, and even in his investigation of the invisible world. Therefore, unlike other contemporary writers, he deserves to be called a kind of meliorist to better self and community.
