Photoabsorption cross-section measurements of some gases, from 10 to 50 nm

Abstract Values of photoabsorption cross-sections for some gases have been obtained as a function of wavelength from the ionization threshold to the soft X-ray region. The curves exhibit shoulders which are tentatively compared with some recent theoretical calculations.
