PURPOSE: A device for preventing a road from freezing using a piezoelectric element is provided to prevent safety accidents by preventing a road from freezing without the supply of additional electric energy. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing a road from freezing using a piezoelectric element comprises piezoelectric devices(10), a resistance block(20), and a waterproof pad. Each piezoelectric device comprises a case(11), a button(12), a piezoelectric element, and an electric conductor. The button is inserted into the case to be protruded to the top end of the case and is elastically supported by a compression spring. The piezoelectric element is located at the inner bottom of the case and converts pressure energy into electric energy using the pressing force of the button. The electric conductor is located at the top of the piezoelectric element and discharges the electric energy generated from the piezoelectric element. The resistance block has one or more insertion holes(21) in which the piezoelectric devices are inserted and converts the electric energy applied from the piezoelectric devices into thermal energy. The waterproof pad surrounds the outer surface of the resistance block except the side surfaces of the resistance block to maintain air tightness.
