A Model for Integrating Personality Traits into an Educational Recommender System

The Recommender Systems in the area of Education have been investigated in order to minimize the information overload for whom the students are subjected, and to improve the learning processes. Personality traits are also researched as a characteristic in order to personalize the students' teaching-learning process. The purpose of this article is to present a doctoral research which proposes the development model of an Educational Recommender System based on the context, by using characteristics of the students' personality traits to customize the recommendations of learning objects.
