A method of an integrated in a vehicle location, that can start establishing a communication link between a mobile device and a navigation system of a vehicle. The navigation system can provide driving instructions that lead to a goal. Each of a plurality of locations can be continually passed over the communications link from the mobile device to the navigation system. In addition, each of the plurality of locations may be continuously adjusted at transmission as the destination in the navigation system. In updating the destination in the navigation system, the driving instructions that lead to this goal can be updated.
