Synthesis of [14C]‐labeled N‐tert‐butyl‐α‐phenylnitrone. A potential spin‐trapping agent

A single step synthesis of the [14C-ring]-N-tert-butyl-α-phenylnitrone (1) starting from the [14C-ring] benzaldehyde is described. The product is obtained in high yield (90%) with a good level of purity.
