A laboratory investigation of a selection of lubricant waxes as dermatitic agents

Abstract A series of lubricant waxes used in light engineering have been evaluated for their dermatitic properties on mouse skin. The frequency and degree of the lesions induced by the waxes was modified by their degree of industrial usage, and the number of times they had been reconstituted after use.
