Thresholds in radiobiology

R. Katz and W. Hofman (see ibid., vol.27, p.1187, 1982) attributed to the present authors and others 'suggestions of dose of LET thresholds in radiobiology'. The present authors feel that this statement is ambiguous, and in this reply they clarify their position.
