Squamous cell carcinoma of the maxillary antrum

Abstract 1. 1. Total experience with squamous cell carcinoma of the maxillary antrum, including diagnosis, treatment, and end results, for a thirty-year period is reported. 2. 2. The primary lesion in each instance was advanced and none was confined to the maxillary antrum. 3. 3. The five year survival among patients treated with radiation only was 9 per cent. The five year survival among patients treated with combined radical antrectomy and postoperative radiation was 19 per cent.
