Электростимуляция и прерывистая пневмокомпрессия в реабилитации больных с переломами верхних конечностей при политравме на этапе стационарного лечения

A total of 32 patients suffering multiple injuries including fractures of the upper extremities were available for the observation. They were allocated to the main (n = 19) and control (n = 13) groups. The patients of the former group were treated by electrostimulation and intermittent pneumocompression in combination with remedial gymnastics following osteosynthesis. This approach resulted in the accelerated elimination of the postoperative oedema, alleviation of pain syndrome, and enhanced efficacy of the recovery of the function of upper extremities.
