SIX ROWS OF HIGH CAPACITY REMOVABLE ANCHORS SUPPORT SOIL MIX COFFERDAM

The use of high capacity soil anchors in lieu of internal props to support the cofferdam walls allowed rapid bottom-up construction of new rail tunnels with unimpeded progress. Innovative techniques in the use of a 38 m (124 ft) deep soil mix wall and 200 kN working capacity fully removable anchors were utilized.
