Pectoralis Major Tendon Variant Insertion on the Humerus: a Case Report and Review of Literature

2019
Pectoralis major tendon variant insertion on the humerus is very rare in clinics. The current literature reports mostly were found in autopsy. The variant tendon insertion on the humerus affects the function of the upper arm. This literature reports a case of pectoralis major tendon variant insertion on the humerus medial condyle in a 9-year-old girl. Severing the tendon improved the function of the upper arm. We discuss the clinical management and review the literature.
