Radiography of the foot

As a basic additional examination in foot pathology, radiography allows us to analyse the bone structure and to identify possible deformations. As anatomic and biomechanic knowledge allows better diagnostic interpretation of the X-ray, so treatment becomes more appropriate. The following text merely sets out some essential notions about the subject and cannot take the place of more detailed presentations [9, 12].
