Effect of micronutrients on yield, tuber-set and specific gravity of potatoes grown in North Dakota

1963
A three-year micronutrient study was conducted at Park River and Grand Forks, North Dakota. Nutrients used were iron, manganese copper, zinc, boron, molybdenum and sulfur. All nutrients were applied in organic form, and most were also applied in formulations of glass frits and chelates. None of the materials measureably increased or decreased tuber-set, yields of A or B-size tubers or specific gravity.
