Use of Decelerating Sublayers in Numerical Simulation of Gravity Convection and Heat Transfer in a Horizontal Water Layer
2006
A new method for taking into account rigid boundary conditions is developed. Two types of constant-heat-flow boundary conditions are used in two-dimensional calculations. It is discussed whether conditions of heat transfer occurring on the boundaries are vital to origination of hard turbulence at high Rayleigh number. The results of calculations are analysed and compared with two types of experimental data.
