Reflections and Reconstruction on the Connotation of Forgiveness

The current western psychological researches on forgiveness are forgiveness of others,which is the interpretation of the connotation of forgiveness that derived from the western cultural tradition.The indigenous psychology of China should construct the connotation of forgiveness through forgiveness of others and self-forgiveness,which is built on Chinese traditional culture,holistic thinking mode of Chinese,the cultivation theory and social relations in the traditional Chinese culture.It is the new interpretation on the connotation of forgiveness,which breakthrough,enriches,improves and beyond the forgiveness of others of western psychological,and it is a try of indigenization research of forgiveness psychology.It will be favorable for promoting the indigenization progress of forgiveness psychology of China.
