Extramedullary hematopoiesis in the maxillary sinus

Summary Chronic hemolytic anemia may result to compensatory extramedullary hematopoiesis. We present the diagnostic and treatment challenges of an unusual case of extramedullary hematopoiesis involving the maxillary sinus. Review of literature is performed.
