On the iterations of certain maps X↦K⋅(X+X−1)X↦K⋅(X+X−1) over finite fields of odd characteristic

Text In this paper we describe the dynamics of certain rational maps of the form k⋅(x+x−1)k⋅(x+x−1) over finite fields of odd characteristic. This work extends our previous investigations on the dynamics of the map x+x−1x+x−1 over finite fields of characteristic 2, 3 and 5.
