Comparative Analysis on the Economies of Scale between State-owned Commercial Banks and Joint-stock Commercial Banks in China——Based on the Data from 1995 to 2005

Based on China's 1995-2005 banking data samples,comparative analysis has been a cause of concern to the Chinese Commercial Bank.Introducing the domestic and international economies of scale issues related to the banking Literature of the study on the basis of the first adopted in accordance with specific data related to a large number of China's banking industry and the efficiency of market structure issues,finally the author uses the cost function of the number of China's banking industry economies of scale empirical verification,and concludes : China's commercial banks changes little at large.But in recent years state-owned commercial banks have more progress than the joint-stock commercials banks.
