Anelysis of Applying Multi-Layer Aseismic Reinforcement in Concrete Gravity Dam

An seismic time-history analysis of non-overflow section in CGD by using ADINA finite element program found that dam head,upper water turning point and dam heel are weak parts of CGD non-overflow section.As aseismic reinforcement can limit the widening of concrete cracks to some degree though it cannot totally stop them.This thesis takes Jin-An-Qiao Hydraulic Power Station Project as on example to study on ways of applying aseismic reinforcement and discusses the effect of applying multi-layer aseismic reinforcement in order to find out reasonable form to apply aseismic reinforcement.
