Laser spots projection measurement based on monocular CCD camera

2018
Industrial monocular area CCD camera, with its high-resolution pixels and stable characteristics, is now playing a significant role in the fields of non-contact position and velocity measurement. To overcome the effects of the measuring nonlinearities and errors' uncertainties, and to improve the precision of space object positioning, a set of triangle shaped measuring target is employed. The spatial invariance determines the feature points, comparing with the ordinary flat target, the idea of projection measurement is proposed by using three laser spots as one cooperative object. The experiment shows the position measuring error can be decreased within 2 magnitude, and the effectiveness of such methods is demonstrated by testing results.
