Identification of cucumber target leaf spot (brown spot) pathogen and its control.

Cucumber target leaf spot is a serious disease in greenhouse in Shandong province.Based on its pathogen characteristics of morphology,pathogenicity and sequence analysis of the internal transcribed spacer region of the ribosomal DNA(ITS),the pathogen arousing cucumber target leaf spot in Shandong province was identified as Corynespora cassiicola(Berk Curt)Wei.The disease could be effectively controlled by tebuconazole and oxine-copper in bioassay and field trial.The control effect to cucumber target leaf spot is 90.49 %.
