Bu calismanin amaci, ilkogretim ogretmenlerinin ogrenci merkezli ogretime yonelik algilarini belirlemektir. Arastirmada betimsel nitelikte tarama yontemi kullanilmistir. Arastirmanin verilerini toplamak amaciyla arastirmacilar tarafindan “Ogrenci Merkezli Ogretim(OMO) Ogretmen Algi Anketi” gelistirilmistir. Anketin gecerligi alan uzmanlarinin gorusleriyle saglanmis, guvenirligi (Cronbach alpha) 0.92 bulunmustur. Veriler SPSS 11.5 programiyla cinsiyet, brans, mezuniyet ve kidem degiskenlerine gore degerlendirilmistir. Calismanin sonunda; ogretmenlerin ortalamanin ustunde (X: 3.41) algiya sahip oldugu, cinsiyetin ogretmen algilarinda anlamli farklilik olusturmadigi; brans, mezuniyet ve kidem degiskenlerinin algilar uzerinde etkili oldugu sonuclarina ulasilmistir. Abstract Purpose of this study is to determine the primary school teachers' perceptions of student-centered teaching. Survey method was used in this research. “Teachers' Perception Survey for Student Centered Teaching” was developed by researchers for collecting the data. Survey's validity was provided with specialists' views and survey's reliability was found 0.92. Data was analyzed with SPSS 11.5 programme with regard to variables of gender, branch, graduate, and priority. Results of the study can be summarized as follow: Teachers have a perception of student-centered teaching above the average (X: 3.41), gender is not a meaningful variable but branch, graduate, and priority are meaningful variables for teachers' perceptions.
