Clinical efficacy analysis of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for non-small cell lung cancer

2012
Objective To explore the curative efficacy of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery(VATS) in the treatment of each stage of non-small cell lung cancer and to provide reference for clinical application of this operation. Methods A total of 117 cases of non-small cell lung patient undergoing VATS lobectomy were divided into two groups on the basis of patho logical stage,56 cases inⅠstage group and 61 cases in Ⅱ stage group. The clinical results such as postoperative complications, recurrence rate and postoperative 3-year follow-up rate were compared. Results The incidence of complications of Ⅰstage group and Ⅱ stage group was 5.4% and 18.0% respectively, the difference had statistical significance(P 0.05).The 3-year survival rate of Ⅰstage group and Ⅱ stage group was 98.2% and 86.9% respectively, the difference had statistical significance(P 0.05).Conclusion VATS lobectomy has better effect for theⅠstage non-cell lung cancer.
