한국어 교육에서 의존명사 ‘바’에 대한 연구

2020
This study set out to develop a discussion about the bound noun 'ba' which is characterized by combination rules with other components, various meanings, and complex pragmatic conjugations, and provide implications for teaching plans for Korean. There was no unity in the morphologic and semantic presentation of its combinational grammar items in the teaching materials. Its fixed pattern expressions were also irregular. The analysis results of its meanings and usages raise a need for explicit learning about its restrictions including that it cannot be a modificand of a noun and determiner, that it can always be modified by an adnominal clause, and that the subject should be the same between a higher sentence and an embedded one when it functions as a modificand in an apposition clause. It is also needed to teach that there are restrictions to following predicates. Since predicates are in coexistence relations with non-action verbs such as recognition verbs(know, do not know, think, imagine, etc.), message verbs(speak, discuss, deliver, report, etc.), perception verbs(see, hear, realize, etc.), and abstract verbs(learn, be deceived, get, etc.), it should be delivered to learners in a systematic manner. There is also a need to present the patterned forms of 'ba' such as ‘- ba issda/eobsda', ‘-ba ida’, and ‘-baga anida’ in unity. It is also required to introduce its expressions used in official presentations or speeches for students with specialized or academic purposes such as "-neun ba-e daehaeseo, -neun ba-e uihamyeon, -neun ba-e ttaleumyeon, and -neun bawa gat-i".
