On the Implementation of Construction General Contract

If Chinese construction industry wants to become a pillar industry truly, it must implement EPC system like the practice of project bidding system. On the basis of careful study, this paper describes the benefits of general contract from four aspects, which are forming an integrated project productivity, developing a management capacity, creating a new competitive advantages and promoting the economic development of large-scale construction enter-prises or enterprise groups. Furthermore, the better ways are proposed to implement the project general contract, including contract methods, legislation to protect the general contract, and general contract innovative enterprise management mode.
