Delaying network reselection after running a circuit switched fallback procedure in a call failure scenario

There is provided a method for delaying network reselection by a wireless communication device after a call failure. The method may include determining an initiation of a voice call while connected to a first network. The method may further participating in a circuit switched fallback procedure (CSFB) include, for the change from the first network to a second network in response to initiation of the voice call. The method may additionally include determining the occurrence of a call failure of the voice call. The method may also include, in response to the call failure disabling reselection to the first network for the duration of a threshold barring period.
