The embodiment of the invention discloses a multi-path selection method and multi-path selection equipment. The multi-path selection method can comprises the steps of: acquiring a correlation sequence between a received signal and a local reference signal by adopting a correlation calculation method; acquiring a power spectrum of the correlation sequence and average noise power of the received signal; dividing the power spectrum of the correlation sequence into at least one first multi-path component region and a second multi-path component region according to a preset division rule on the basis of the average noise power of the received signal; searching the at least one first multi-path component region according to a preset first noise threshold to obtain effective multi-path component signals in the at least one first multi-path component region; and searching the second multi-path component region according to a preset second noise threshold to obtain effective multi-path component signals in the second multi-path component region.
