The invention which belongs to the mechanical stress test field concretely discloses a steel wire rope fatigue assessment based on five point bending test. The system comprises a measurement unit and an acquisition unit which are arranged on the site, strain gages in the measurement unit have electric connections with a strain acquisition instrument in the acquisition unit, the system also comprises an assessment unit and an early warning unit which are arranged on far ends, and the assessment unit comprises a far-end computer and rain-flow counting method and miner linear accumulation damage theory assessment software prestored in the computer; real-time steel wire rope fatigue strength data which are acquired by the acquisition unit and measured by the measurement unit are transmitted to the assessment unit through a wireless network, the steel wire rope fatigue strength which is obtained through calculating by the assessment unit is assess-compared with a preset strength, the obtained assess-compared result is transmitted to the early warning unit, and the early warning unit emits a warning promote when the obtained result exceeds the preset value of the early warning unit, so the online real-time assessment and the early warning of the steel wire rope are realized.
