Application of an Autoregression Model in Processing the Signal of a Radiometric Channel of an Extreme Frequency Radio Interferometer–Radiometer

This article considers a method for digitally processing the signal of the radiometric channel of an ultra-high-frequency radio interferometer–radiometer operating in the active–passive mode. The digital processing algorithm is based on a method of signal representation using an autoregressive model. A criterion for choosing the optimal order of the model is proposed. Application of the proposed algorithm allows one to reduce the processing time of experimental results by more than two times in comparison with the previously used methods.
