Research on control for upright vehicle based on fuzzy algorithm

In order to solve the problem that the following-speed performance of upright vehicle is not strong caused by the conflict between the speed control and the vertical control, the control method of upright vehicle is presented based on fuzzy PI. In the design process of fuzzy PI controller, firstly, the system status of upright vehicle under different working conditions is analyzed. Secondly, the setting principle of fuzzy PI control parameters making the system to get the best response performance is made. Finally, the software simulation of the upright vehicle adopting the fuzzy PI controller and the real vehicle test are implemented respectively. The results of simulation and test show that the upright vehicle can achieve good speed following performance based on fuzzy algorithm, and the stability and robustness of the system is guaranteed.
