An induction heating cooker (20) comprising: a rectifier circuit (2) that rectifies an AC power supply (1); a detection circuit input current (8) that detects a current flowing from the AC power supply to the rectifier circuit; a smoothing capacitor (3) which smoothes an output of the rectifier circuit; a first heating coil (4a); a second heating coil (4b); a first inverter (11a) which converts an output filter capacitor in a predetermined frequency using a semiconductor switch (6a, 6c) for supplying a high frequency power to the first heating coil; a second inverter (11b) which converts the output of the smoothing capacitor at a predetermined frequency by using a semiconductor switch (6b, 6d) for supplying a high frequency power to the second heating coil; and a control unit (10) controls the operation of the semiconductor switch to cause the current detected by the detection circuit input current is a current value previously set, wherein in case the first and second inverters to be operated at the same time, the control unit performs control to alternately repeat a first operating mode in which an output of the first inverter is a first output and an output of the second inverter is a second output power is lower than the first output and a second mode in which an output of the first inverter is a third output power is lower than the first output power and output power of the second inverter is a fourth power output that is higher than the second output power and also higher than the third power output, and in the first operating mode, the control unit maintains constant a frequency of operation of the second inverter and controls an operating frequency of the first inverter by controlling a driving time of the semiconductor switch to cause the current detected by the circuit detecting input current is the current value previously set, and in the second operating mode, the control unit maintains a constant operating frequency of the first inverter and controls the operating frequency of the second inverter by controlling time driving the semiconductor switch to cause the current detected by the detection circuit input current is the current value previously established.
