O Auto do Boi Envenenado: uma experiência de arteagroecologia em cena

This writing intends to dialogue the process of construction and experience of the agroecologicalartistic performance: O Auto do Boi Envenenado (The Poisoned Ox Play). The performance,first experienced in event Troca de Saberes (Exchange of Knowledge) of 2012, reinforcesthe international campaign to combat the use of pesticides, interlinking with gender issues inthe environment of family agriculture. The performance, first experienced in the event Troca deSaberes (Exchange of Knowledge) in 2012, brings to the scene the political discussion aboutthe non-use of pesticides, interconnecting with gender issues in the environment of familyagriculture. Inspirations for the play come from the project Agroecologia dos Saberes (CNPq),which through the experiences with social task forces, brought the dialogues of the rural realitiesof Zona da Mata Mineira area. Interlacing art and agroecology brings a perspective oftransforming the art-education on the scene, highlighting here a great potential for aesthetic,artistic and agroecological actions. This experience report allows us to historically record theexperience of the performance that, between 2012 and 2013, circulated through some localitiesof Zona da Mata, telling the story tale O Auto do Boi Envenenado (The Poisoned Ox Play)and integrating the actions of agroecology in Minas Gerais state regional network.
