Treatment of the trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis by arthroplasty with a pyrocarbon implant

Purpose Trapeziometacarpal (TM) osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis of the hand. To date, among surgical alternatives proposed, no one type has been proven superior to others.
