IoT-Enabled Automatic Floor Cleaning Robot

A healthy environment is an essential thing for leading a healthy lifestyle. In this new digital era, people having a more monotonous routine of long working hours people are not able to save time for cleaning the house efficiently. For working people, they have less time to invest in household work so they are looking for cost-effective options like autonomous cleaning devices which can compensate their need for a neat and healthy house for living. New demands gaining in this field are of the domestic cleaning robot. This demand is increasing day by day in industrial robots. Previously, floor cleaning robots have been categorized into two main categories, namely wet cleaning and dry cleaning. At present, there is no existing autonomous system that acquires the combination of these two dry and wet cleaning. Therefore, a new system is proposed which will contain a combination of both wet cleaning and dry cleaning together. To get the on-point results from the sensors and perform needful tasks, the IoT framework is best suited. IoT provides the functionality of interfacing sensors producing results with very high connectivity. The sensor's connectivity does not reduce the analysis process abilities and values measuring capabilities. To enable long-distance controlling communications, the Wi-Fi module is added. With the help of the Wi-Fi module integrated with the IoT technologies, the cleaning robot will result in smarter cleaning.
