Signal Detection at a Poisson Noise Background

Abstract The problem of detecting a random signal is considered under Presence of a Poisson noise. Decision rules and computational methods Vo Iltain the detection algorithm. Comparison of the suggested criteria is carried out which permits the selection of the best, in some sense, aetection. The conclusions made are verified by the results of numerical modelling on different examples.
