Light emitting means

The invention discloses a light emitting device. The light emitting device comprises the following components of: a light emitting stacked layer which includes a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer and a light emitting layer formed between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer, wherein the first semiconductor layer is provided with a first surface, a first portion connected with the first surface, and a second portion connected with the first portion; an opening which penetrates the first portion of the first semiconductor layer from an upper surface; a recessed portion which is connected with the opening and penetrates the second semiconductor layer, the light emitting layer and the second portion of the first semiconductor layer, wherein the width of the recessed portion is larger than that of the opening so that the bottom of the recessed portion can expose a second surface of the first semiconductor layer, wherein the second surface is opposite to the first surface; and an electrode which is located in the recessed portion and is corresponding to the opening.
