Is more fast food what the community really wants

It's probably not entirely accidental that the opening of the McDonald's store in Tecoma coincided with the first day of the Easter school holidays, 2014. The community met the opening with a peaceful protest which included not just parents and carers, but children who represented the very patrons to which this fast food outlet is actively marketed.
