Preliminary screen of cellulolytic bacteria in rumen by minimum medium.

Objective To preliminarily screen celluloytic bacteria in rumen.Method The bacteria and fungi were isolated by two different culture media;The aerobic,facultative anaerobic and anaerobic microorganisms were isolated by three different culture methods;Then,the cellulolytic bacteria were screened by the reselective culture medium(containing microcellulose).Result A strain of anaerobic bacteria and a strain of anaerobic fungi were screened and isolated.Conclusion The method used was simple and efficient for screening and isolating celluloytic bacteria in rumen.
