ORTHOTOPIC NEOBLADDER IN A WOMAN AFTER KIDNEY TRANSPLANTATION

1997
There are several reports in the literature concerning intestinal urinary diversion after kidney transplantation. The use of orthotopic neobladder is also reported.' To our knowledge and extensive survey of the literature, these orthotopic procedures were performed only in male patients. We report on a female patient with invasive bladder cancer 8 years after successful renal transplantation treated with radical cystectomy and orthotopic ileal neobladder.
