The synthesis of antihypertensive 3-(1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)phenoxypropanolahines

Abstract The synthesis of 3-(1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)phenoxypropanolamines 3 is described, including the enantioselective syntheses of R - and S - 3a . The compounds 3 are of interest as antihypertensives with a specific α1-receptor-blocking action.
