Aqueous Synthesis and Characterization of CuO Nano-microspheres at Low-temperature

CuO nano-microspheres were synthesized by a facile aqueous method with CuSO4·5H2O as copper source and Na2CO3 as precipitant at 80 ℃.The structure,morphology and performance of the products were characterized by X-ray diffraction( XRD),scanning electron microscopy( SEM),ultraviolet( UV) visible spectrophotometer and gas sensing measurements( WS-30A).The results indicated that the product was nano-microspheres with the monoclinic structure and had better performance on photocatalytic and gas sensing properties.
