Fluorescent tracers for labeling of injection water petroleum fields

The field of this invention is that of the exploration and exploitation of oil deposits. More specifically, this invention relates to a method of investigation of a geological subsoil, preferably a petroleum reservoir, by propagation of an injection liquid in said basement, the injection liquid comprising at least one tracer fluorescent soluble in aqueous phase, said tracer comprising a metal complex. The invention also relates to the use of a fluorescent metal complex as soluble tracer in the aqueous phase in the injection water of a petroleum reservoir.
