Rolling method for steel plates of wide and thin specifications

2012
The invention provides a rolling method for steel plates of wide and thin specifications. According to the rolling method, the steel plates of wide and thin specifications are rolled by using a double-rack roller consisting of a rough rolling mill and a finish rolling mill; the rolling method comprises a heating process, a rough milling process and a finish milling process in sequence; in the heating process, a plate blank with thickness of less than or equal to 200 mm is used as a raw material and is heated to tapping temperature of greater than or equal to 1,230 DEG C, then the plate blank which is discharged out of a furnace is rolled through a rough rolling process by using a rough rolling mill to obtain an intermediate blank with width and thickness which meettechnological requirements; and then the intermediate blank is rolled through a finish milling process by using the finish rolling mill to obtain a target steel plate with rough width of less than or equal to 3,620 mm, wherein the final rolling temperature is greater than or equal to 750 DEG C. The steel plate rolled by using the method provided by the invention is stable in rolling, and the problems such as camber, wave shape and bending can be effectively controlled. In addition, qualified products with specifications of 6-7 mm*2,810-3,620 mm can be produced on a large scale by the rolling process; and the rolling method has great economic and social benefit.
