The invention relates to a preparation method of organic silicone-modified phenolic resin friction powder. The method comprises the steps of putting beta-naphthol, formaldehyde and ammonia water into a reactor, stirring while heating until the temperature is 100-120 DEG C, and reacting for 40-60min; adding butanol for dehydrating, and rapidly cooling when heating up to 150 DEG C, so as to obtain phenolic resin; adding dimethyldichlorosilane, modified linseed oil and maleic anhydride into the reactor, stirring while heating until the temperature is 220-240 DEG C, and reacting for 80-100min; slowly adding the phenolic resin, heating up to 240-250 DEG C, and reacting for 10-80min; adding butanol when naturally cooling to 110-120 DEG C, reacting for 10-40min, adding hexamethylene tetramine when the temperature is 50-55 DEG C, fully mixing and then heating up to 150-200 DEG C, reacting for 6-8h, grinding and screening. Probably because of the higher crosslinking density of the organic silicone-modified phenolic resin, the organic silicone-modified phenolic resin friction powder is higher in friction resisting ability.
