Virtual Power Generation Optimization Model of Office Building in Virtual Power Plant Based on Comfort Loss

In order to alleviate the unbalanced development of the power system on both sides of the source and load, the flexible adjustable loads such as air conditionings in office buildings and other industrial and commercial buildings are used to construct virtual power plant (VPP) for virtual power generation. When virtual power generation is used in office buildings with air conditioning load, the indoor comfort will change, which will directly affect people’s work efficiency and dissatisfaction with environment. Based on this, this paper uses the evaluation model of interval number approximation to determine the level of comfort loss caused by virtual generation. By using the comfort loss level, the optimization model of virtual power generation for office building of VPP is established with the objective function of minimum power cost and maximum virtual power generation revenue. The feasibility of the model is verified by an example. The results show that on the premise of satisfying the overall average satisfaction and work efficiency for a day, timely adjustment of indoor comfort can not only reduce the cost of electricity, but also increase the virtual power generation benefit.
