Research and Application of High Performance AC-DC-AC Drive System for Hot Strip Coiler

At present, most of the hot-rolled strip coilers are excitation synchronous motors or asynchronous motors around 1000kW/660V. The article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the synchronous motors and the asynchronous motors as the hot rolling coiler, introduces the steel rolling process of the coiler, discusses the characteristics and performance of the excitation synchronous motors as the coiler , and explains the selection of two-level AC-DC-AC inverter and the configuration scheme of the electric control system, this paper expounds the vector control system of the high-performance strip coiler and several key technologies in its application, and analyzes the practical application of high-performace AC-DC-AC Drive System for hot-rolled strip coilers.
