Vaginal Infections by Torulopsis Glabrata

1967
Summary Torulopsis glabrata can be recovered from the vagina almost as frequently as Candida albicans. It can be identified readily by usual mycological procedures. Though apparently less virulent than C. albicans, T. glabrata is probably a vaginal pathogen causing a clinical syndrome resembling that of C. albicans. The treatment of infection by these two organisms appears to be the same.
